Taliban Leader Mullah Omar Killed in Pakistan on 21 may 2011 tow days ago. Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Mohammad Omar has been killed in Pakistan, a private television channel reported Monday.
\”Mullah Omar was killed on way from Quetta to North Waziristan, \” TOLO television said in its news bulletin.
However, it did not provide details on how he was killed and by whom.
Meanwhile, a security official confirmed the killing, saying, \” it is correct that Mullah Omar has been killed.\”
But he did not disclose details.
Mullah Omar was shot dead as he was being moved from Quetta to North Waziristan by former ISI chief Gen. Hamid Gul, the source said.”
