Anyway, this week they have traveled to Tai Pei, Taiwan. That’s still in Asia. To refresh your memory, there are six guys left: my favorite JP, twinsies Ben and Constantine, high society Ames, boring Lucas, and cheeseball Ryan. Two will be voted off tonight and the remaining four will go on hometown dates. There will be three one-on-one dates with no rose on the line, and one group date with a rose.
The first date goes to Constantine. JP feels like he’s on a different level with Ashley than everyone else and he thinks the week will be hard for him watching other guys go on dates with her. He’s ready to just get the week over with.Ashley and Constantine’s relationship has moved slower than the rest but Ashley sees something there and wants to find out what it is. They take a train to a small village outside the city for a lantern festival, like the one in Tangled. They paint the side of a lantern and begin to call it their “love wish” and when they release it into the sky later supposedly their wish will come true. Constantine is taking it seriously and that makes Ashley feel like they have a potential future together. I know if my husband didn’t take our love wish lantern seriously that would pretty much be a dealbreaker. At dinner they talk about family in anticipation of hometown dates. Ashley says Constantine is exactly what she’s attracted to physically and she loves that he’s a family man. He keeps talking about a “moment” where they will know they are in love. Obviously they haven’t had that moment yet. They release their lantern and Ashley says, “Bye, love wish!”
