Dear students, we would also like to inform you some information about the Lahore board. BISE Lahore was established in 1954 and then re-established in 1976 under the BISE Act. This board conducts and control matric and inters exams for the schools and private students belonging to Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sheikhupura and Nankana sahib.
Literacy rate in Lahore is 74%. Like every past year, thousands of students have come out in the matric exams of 2011 bise Lahore and now waiting for their matric result. All the Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Punjab province will announce matric result on the same date which is 21st July 2011 for this year. According to the results last year in 2010, 208,532 students appeared in matric exams and 126,753 managed to clear the annual examination. Pass percentage was 60.79 last year.
