Synopsis:
One of Manhattan's top corporate lawyers (Gabriel Macht) sets out to recruit a new hotshot associate and hires the only guy that impresses him - a brilliant but unmotivated college dropout (Patrick J. Adams). Though he isn't actually a lawyer, this legal prodigy has the book smarts of a Harvard law grad and the street smarts of a hustler. In the first episode of the season, "Company Man", we find out that in the time between the Season 4 finale and the beginning of Season 5, Michael has been working with the CIA to capture, imprison, or execute all of the people that worked for the organization that burned him. Now only one person remains, and Michael works with his CIA partner Max, and his boss Raines to capture him and interrogate him. At the end of the episode, Michael and Max almost catch him before he apparently commits suicide behind a steel door where he was hiding from the CIA forces. Michael, upset over his lack of answers for the last 4 years of being burned, returns to Miami, not knowing his next move.
