Norwich will assess centre-back Zak Whitbread, who was forced off against Wigan because of a knee problem.
He could be replaced by Daniel Ayala, who joined from Liverpool on Tuesday.
Stoke trio Jonathan Woodgate, Jermaine Pennant and Asmir Begovic are likely to start after being rested for the Europa League game against FC Thun.
Jonathan Walters is expected to play despite suffering a head injury and gashed shin on Thursday, but Rory Delap is a doubt with a hamstring problem.
