West Tigers vs St George Dragons  preview

Greg Prichard writes: Crunch time for the Dragons. Their coach, Wayne Bennett, didn’t mince his words after they capitulated against the Rabbitohs last week, and a few others have since taken shots at them from outside the club. If they don’t at least aim up with a big performance here, you wouldn’t want to be on them to win the competition. I’m tipping they will aim up, so the Tigers had better be ready for a full-blooded contest.

AAP writes: The Dragons will come out swinging after their capitulation to Souths last week but whether they can keep it up for 80 minutes is the big question. Inspirational hooker Dean Young returns for the Dragons and his presence will no doubt lift the side. The Tigers come into the match full of confidence after their gritty victory over Manly last week but will be wary of the wounded Dragons. Benji Marshall looks to have recaptured his best form and his clash with Dragons five-eighth Jamie Soward should be a ripper. St George Illawarra are shooting for five consecutive wins over the Tigers.
