Aberdeen v Kilmarnock Scotland Premier League Preview

Saturday, 17 September 2011
Clydesdale Bank Premier League
Aberdeen v Kilmarnock 15:00 BST
Venue: Pittodrie Stadium

Aberdeen manager Craig Brown:

"There is extra pressure on us to win games because the board has been very co-operative to give us extra money to bring Rory Fallon here so they deserve, as do the fans, success, and it is up to us to make sure they get it.

"I am under no illusions that we need to win some football matches because we had terrific support down there in Edinburgh (in the 0-0 draw with Hibernian).

"We want to reward the fans and the best reward they can get is the team winning games.

"If it was the league leaders here we would expect to win at home. I expect to win every game and hope to win every game and we will always give a good account of ourselves, particularly at home."

Kilmarnock defender Zdenek Kroca:

"The quality of the teams are very similar. There is not much difference between being second-bottom just now and where we are in fourth position.

"There are four points now and one game can change everything in terms of positions in the table.

"We need to be focused on ourselves and do our best.

"We need to concentrate and play much better than we did in the last away game in Inverness. If we play at our best, we can win the game."
