Team news for Saturday afternoon's Scottish Premier League clash between Dundee United and Motherwell at Tannadice.
Dundee United are without defender Sean Dillon.
The Irishman was on the way back from a calf injury but suffered a setback in training on Tuesday. He will join leg-break victim Scott Severin, who will be on the sidelines for the rest of the season, in the stand.
Apart from those two boss Peter Houston has a full squad to choose from.
Motherwell have no fresh injuries for the clash.
Shaun Hutchinson is on course to return from an ankle problem immediately after the international break.
Long-term injury victim Steven Saunders (Achilles) is the only other absentee.
Dundee United (from): Pernis, Douglas, Dixon, Watson, Kenneth, Gunning, Smith, Allan, Flood, Rankin, Armstrong, Robertson, Mackay-Steven, Hilson, Dow, Marsh-Brown, Russell, Daly, Dalle Valle, Banks.Team news for Wednesday night's Scottish Cup quarter-final replay between Motherwell and Dundee United at Fir Park.
Motherwell face a shortage of defenders for the clash.
Steven Saunders (ankle) is expected to miss out while Stevie Hammell (hamstring) could remain on the sidelines, and Stephen Craigan's participation is doubtful as he is on international duty for Northern Ireland in their Euro 2012 qualifier against Slovenia 24 hours before kick-off.
Goalkeeper Darren Randolph should be fine to play despite his involvement for the Republic of Ireland while Keith Lasley and Francis Jeffers both return.
Morgaro Gomis is suspended for United, who travel to Fir Park with Craig Conway (thigh) available again and with Scott Severin looking to make his first appearance for five months following an ankle problem after being an unused substitute against Inverness.
Garry Kenneth is the only definite injury absentee with a knee problem.Motherwekk (from): Randolph, Hateley, Gunning, Craigan, Hutchinson, Page, Hammell, Lasley, Jennings, Humphrey, Jones, Murphy, Sutton, Jeffers, Forbes, Casagolda, Hollis.Keith Lasley is an injury doubt for Motherwell ahead of their Co-operative Insurance Cup quarter-final against Dundee United.

He suffered a hamstring injury against the same team at the weekend but boss Craig Brown hopes he will be fit for the cup clash.

Long-term casualty Esteban Casagolda remains on the sidelines.

Well manager Craig Brown does not feel that Saturday's game between the two sides will have any influence on the outcome of this one.

Brown's men secured a 2-1 win, but the former Scotland boss has already out that result to bed, but is cautious of a Dundee United backlash.

Brown: "Tuesday will be a very different game. I know you could argue that we have the psychological advantage but a cup fixture is certainly another matter.

"Winning on Saturday may even make United feel the need for revenge in the week and it could motivate them."

Craig Conway is doubtful for Dundee United.

The winger limped off after 35 minutes of last Saturday's game at Fir Park with a knock suffered to the back of his knee last Thursday in training and is set to miss tomorrow night's Co-operative Insurance Cup quarter-final clash.

Defender Darren Dods (knee) remains out, while midfielder Danny Swanson (back) is not yet fit to return but could play in Saturday's league match with Hibernian.

Dundee United manager Peter Houston has told his players he expects a vast improvement in their performance.

Own goals from Scott Severin, inside the first minute, and Sean Dillon gave Motherwell three points that keep them in third place, although David Goodwillie's 50th-minute equaliser was also a gift as Stephen Craigan handled to concede a penalty.

The nature of Motherwell's goals belied their dominance with Houston admitting the home team were "hungrier, sharper and better".

"The good thing for us - well hopefully it's a good thing - is that we are here in the cup," Houston said. "We know Motherwell are a decent side but we have got an opportunity to correct that.

"The players are disappointed we lost the game. Normally after a poor performance they have always come back and answered the question that is asked of them. All I can hope for is that they answer that question on Tuesday."
