Dunfermline league form (last five): L-L-D-L-L
After a promising start Dunfermline have hit a rough patch and have taken just one point from their last five games, conceding 17 goals. A 4-0 defeat to Aberdeen a fortnight ago was the latest in a series of harsh lessons for the Pars. Dunfermline sit 11th.
Andy Kirk is the top scorer at East End Park, having scored three this season. Ryan Thomson and Joe Cardle have scored two each, while Jason Thomson, Martin Hardie and Paul Burns have registered one apiece.
Hearts league form (last five): W-L-W-D-W
On their own turf there are few, if any, sides as good as Hearts have been this term. The 2-0 victory against Celtic showed just what a tough proposition they have become at Tynecastle. Away from home is a different story as Hearts have won just two games in 2011 on their travels.
Ryan Stevenson and John Sutton have scored two goals each this term. Andy Webster, David Obua, Jamie Hamill, Rudi Skacel, Stephen Elliott and Arvydas Novikovas have one each.

Jim McIntyre, Dunfermline manager:
"When you turn in a performance like the Aberdeen match then you deserve all the criticism going. We just weren't at the races at all.
"Every facet of what we did well in our first seven games was missing. That wasn't good enough and we are all well aware of that. Now they've got a chance to make amends."
Hearts midfielder Eggert Jonsson:
"The St Johnstone game away was just a bad day for us. We spoke after the game and everyone was disappointed.
"There was no better game to bounce back than playing Celtic at home.
"We knew what we had to do and that was obviously to win the game and get three points.
"But since then we can't really talk about it. Okay, we won but now we have to look forward and going from Celtic to Dunfermline away.
"If we don't get a good result in this game then the Celtic game doesn't mean anything.
"You can't just go and beat Celtic and not perform against the teams we think we should be winning against."
