Team news ahead of Ipswich's Championship tussle with Brighton at Portman Road on Saturday.Teenage defender Reece Wabara could make his debut for the home side.
The right-back has arrived from Manchester City on a 93-day loan and will battle it out with Carlos Edwards for the nod.On-loan striker Daryl Murphy remains a doubt having been withdrawn from the bench for Tuesday's last-gasp 1-0 victory at West Ham having sustained a hamstring problem in the warm-up at Upton Park. Nathan Ellingtonreplaced him in the matchday 16.Winger Lee Martin is now struggling with an eye complaint after overcoming a bout of tonsillitis and a three-match suspension. But midfielder Mark Kennedy is back in training after his calf injury.

Manager Paul Jewell has kept faith with an unchanged XI for the last three matches which have seen Town take seven points from a possible nine in just nine days.

Brighton will be without Lewis Dunk when they travel to East Anglia.

The teenage defender serves a one-match ban after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season during Tuesday night's 3-1 defeat by derby rivals Crystal Palace.
With Tommy Elphick (Achilles) and Adam El-Abd (foot) still sidelined, boss Gus Poyet will turn to Steve Cook or Romain Vincelot to fill in at centre-half.

Youth product Cook made his first appearance of the season in the Carling Cup defeat by Liverpool last week and could be handed a full league debut, although the versatile Vincelot can also play in the centre.

Winger Will Buckley is the only other injury absentee with the hamstring problem he suffered against Liverpool.History of the Ipswich Town v Brighton & Hove Albion fixture

Ipswich Town play host to Brighton & Hove Albion at Portman Road on Saturday afternoon, looking to continue an impressive record. The Tractor Boys are clearly on top, having won 18 and lost only 5 of the 29 games.

The last time the two teams met at Ipswich Town was back in April 2006, over five years ago, with Brighton & Hove Albion inflicting a narrow 1-2 defeat upon the Tractor Boys in a Championship match.Gus Poyet will draft either Steve Cook or Romain Vincelot into the centre-half position for Saturday's visit to Ipswich Town.

A place alongside skipper Gordon Greer is up for grabs after Lewis Dunk accumulated his fifth yellow card of the season, against Crystal Palace on Tuesday night, and is therefore suspended from the game.

Dunk, 19, has been an ever-present at the heart of Albion's league defence this season and Poyet admits he is still undecided who to replace him with at Portman Road.

He told seagulls.co.uk, "At the moment it will be a straight decision; either Cookie or Romain will come in. I played Steve Cook against Liverpool because I knew that we would be in this position sooner or later and I had to be sure that he is ready.

"I've had him on the bench four or five times too and I don't do that if I don't think he's ready because even when I put a player on the bench he could be playing 85 minutes. Now I'm comfortable for him to play at any time.

"I was surprised when Romain told me that he is most comfortable at centre-back because he trained with us a couple of years ago as a full-back, then played a lot at Dagenham in midfield. If anyone had asked me I would have said he was a midfielder or full-back, but after speaking to him in pre-season he said he was a centre-half.

"Because he is not the tallest of players it depends who you play against: if it's Stoke City you will not play Romain at centre-back but if you're playing Ipswich he's got a chance. We'll see."

Elsewhere, Will Buckley continues his recovery from a hamstring injury he suffered against Liverpool last week, while Adam El-Abd (foot) and Tommy Elphick (Achilles) continue their recovery from long-term injury.

Meanwhile, Craig Mackail-Smith has been called up to the Scotland squad for their European Championship Qualifiers against Leichtenstein and Spain next week, and Dunk has been named on standby for the England Under-21s, ahead of their European Championship Qualifying fixtures against Iceland (6th October) and Norway (10th October).

Daryl Murphy is the Tractor Boys' only major doubt ahead of Saturday, after he pulled out of the squad before their victory against West Ham United on Tuesday night, owing to a hamstring injury.

New signing Reece Wabara could be pushing for a place in the squad after joining on loan, while Ivar Ingimarsson and Mark Kennedy have recovered from their respective injuries and are available for selection.
