Duo return for Killie
Glenn Loovens, Beram Kayal, Joe Ledley, and Cha Du-ri are all back in contention though, the quartet having overcome their own injuries to provide reinforcements to boss Neil Lennon.
Killie are also boosted by the return of a couple of players. Danny Buijs has overcome a hamstring problem, while fellow midfielder Liam Kelly is over a knock to his Achilles.
Defender Ryan O'Leary, however, is sadly a long-term casualty and stays sidelined with his cruciate ligament injury.
Craig Bryson and Simon Ford are back in the Kilmarnock squad for the Active Nation Scottish Cup quarter-final tie against Celtic at Rugby Park.
Bryson has recovered from a hamstring problem and Ford has shaken off a knee injury.
But striker Kevin Kyle has failed to recover from a groin injury while Manuel Pascali is suspended.
The Ayrshire side are further weakened with the absence of on-loan striker Chris Maguire who is cup-tied.
Scott Brown is eligible for Celtic despite his league suspension, and Marc-Antoine Fortune returns after a dead leg.
Jos Hooiveld and Glenn Loovens have trained after recovering from hamstring injuries but Thomas Rogne (hamstring), Diomansy Kamara (hamstring), Niall McGinn (thigh) and Paddy McCourt (knee) are all out, while Shaun Maloney will join full training next week following his return from tendinitis.
