For Toronto, a number of players like Joffrey Lupul and Luke Schenn have been performing well for them along with their goalie, James Reimer, but it is Phil Kessel, Boston’s former fifth overall pick during the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, that has wowed everyone.
With 12 points (7 goals, 5 assists) in five games, Kessel stands first in the league for scoring and does not plan on slowing down any time soon.
The Bruins are still missing David Krejci which has hampered their performance while Marc Savard has also been announced as being out for the season with a concussion.
Since Maple Leafs have a number of teammates working together to get those valuable goals during the match, Toronto will surely have an edge on the 2011 Stanley Cup champs come Thursday.
