Goalkeeper Brian Jensen (groin) and forward duo Martin Paterson (thigh) and Danny Ings (knee) remain sidelined but Tindall had better news on defender Michael Duff, who is stepping up his recovery from a knee problem.
He added: "Duffo is training with us, he's been back training the last few days. If you ask Duffo he'd probably say he could play (on Tuesday night) but we've got to be a little bit sensible and we're looking forward to having him back soon.''
Captain Matt Mills comes back into the reckoning for Leicester.
Mills has served a three-match suspension following his straight red card in the 2-0 defeat at Midlands rivals Birmingham.
The club-record signing is likely to go straight back into the starting line-up and resume his central defensive partnership with Sol Bamba, meaning Sean St. Ledger will lose his place in the team.
