St Mirren manager Danny Lennon: "Celtic have been absolutely terrific and it is a terrific run.

"They had a stop-start situation at the beginning of the season, so Neil Lennon and his staff have to take a great deal of credit for that run and getting to the top of the table. It is fantastic management.

"But we hope we can bring it to a halt. Our level of performances have been excellent regardless of the fact that Rangers was the last SPL game we won.

"We have not had the results to go with those performances and that has been disappointing for us.

"We feel that whenever we take to the field we have an opportunity and we are certainly in a better position now than when we went to Celtic Park the last time.

"We learned a great deal from that game and so hopefully we can put a spanner in Celtic's good run."

Celtic midfielder James Forrest: "I had a virus the last two weeks but I am back to normal. I have trained all week and feeling better.

"It is really good run that we are on and we want to build on that.

"The earlier kick-off is important if we get the three points and it maybe puts pressure onto Rangers.

"But it's down to us to get the three points. We just concentrate on our own game, that's the most important thing."
