They have used 40 players this season in league and cup, bought and discarded players like confetti and changed the manager without ever looking like they are going to do anything other than struggle.
It's easy to say that they have enough attacking talent to stay up, but the task of finding the best mix of Zamora, Cisse, Taarabt, Bothroyd, Macheda, Campbell, Helguson, Mackie, Wright-Phillips, and Buzsacky could take longer than QPR have.
After playing Bolton they will have 10 games left, including encounters against Liverpool , Arsenal, Manchester United, Spurs and Chelsea before they finish their season at the Etihad against Mark Hughes' old club Man City - and if that's a "must-win" game they will be in trouble.
