Wingers Jonny Hayes and Aaron Doran and defender Kenny Gillet are back training and should be fit for the weekend.

However, Chris Hogg (knee) and Andrew Shinnie (foot) remain out.

St Johnstone midfielder Murray Davidson is likely to miss the match with a knee injury, while left-back Callum Davidson (hamstring) should be available.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle manager Terry Butcher : "The boys have got the bit between their teeth now after last Saturday.

"I've been really pleased with them. We haven't quite got the points our play has deserved, but I felt on Saturday we did.

"It's the big countdown now - eight games to go until the end of the season, three before the split.

"There are a lot of points to be won, a lot of bonuses to be fought for and a lot of pride as well, because we want to climb the table and climb above teams above us.

"We know what's at stake for us. We want to finish the season off well."

St Johnstone manager Steve Lomas : "To qualify for Europe would be unbelievable, but there's a long, long way to go.

"I'd like to think the lads have enjoyed their football this year.

"I've certainly enjoyed managing them. They're a great bunch of boys.

"There's no doubt that team spirit and togetherness has played a part this season. Team spirit is very hard to build and, when you've get a nice little mix of players like I've got, you want to try to keep them together.

"We're at the business end of the season. It will be very tough wherever we go.

"We knew this would be a tough week. The first part of the job is done, getting three points at home, and now we look at a difficult journey to Inverness.

"We'll have to be at our best to get anything from Inverness."
