Chopra was handed a different punishment by Ipswich and fined two weeks' wages, with the striker going on to head the opener in Saturday's 3-0 victory over Bristol City.
Aside from the enforced absence of Bullard, who has been unable to command a starting spot over recent months, manager Paul Jewell has a fully-fit squad to select from for the trip to St Mary's.
Jewell made two changes against the Robins at the weekend, goalkeeper Alex McCarthy and midfielder Grant Leadbitter replacing Arran Lee-Barrett and Luke Hyam respectively.
