"The referee was not on our side, but my players missed the spirit to win. In these matches you earn the title,'' said Hiddink.
"If PSV play the next matches as bad as last Sunday, it will be difficult to become champions.''
They remain eight points clear of Ajax so will have to suffer a major slump in form. Thus the match against Roda is an ideal chance to get over the slip in Tilburg.
Roda have not lost at home since November 23 though, and have defied both Ajax and Feyenoord in that time.
