The Tigers have had an up and down season so far this year, with 3 wins and 3 losses. Their last start against the Titans was disappointing, after shooting to an early lead, they allowed 20 unanswered points to be piled on, losing 20-14.
The Tigers have had a difficult run with injuries, however with Benji, Farah and Moltzen, should still be competitive. Beau Ryan comes back in to the team, and Fafita gets a start in place of Gibbs, who moves to the bench.
The Broncos have been a bit of a surprise packet this year – they had a poor year by their standards last year, however they have started 2011 with a bang, they find themselves equal leaders with the Storm and the Dragons after 6 rounds. Darren Lockyer is in good form, along with Thaiday and Hodges. Their young players are also impressing.
The Broncos have traditionally played on Good Friday at the SFS, however it is usually against the Roosters. With the traditional ANZAC day game causing a reshuffle, the Broncos have maintained their Easter Sydney schedule.
This should be a good game, especially if the Tigers play to their potential. Brisbane however are looking like they could be a top 4 team, and I can see them getting this one in a low scoring game.
