The weekly challenge winners split $20,000 between themselves, and the winning six nominees decide who will face off in The Ruins. Each Ruins competition will have two battles, one male and one female. The winner of each face-off not only stays in the game, but also wins any money his or her opponent made thus far in the game. The loser goes home with nothing.
